The Plot
The Year is 1997
Hogwarts has changed.
Albus Dumbledore is dead.
Severus Snape is headmaster.
Outside the castle, Voldemort runs free.
Potter, Weasley and Granger have dropped out of school to search for Horcruxes.
Neville Longbottom, Ginny Weasley and Luna Lovegood struggle to keep the DA going in secret.


The story is well known. It has not, however, been told from the point of view of the new first-years; those starting at the famed school of Witchcraft and Wizardry in one of its darkest years.

This is their story.

And who knows? Due to these previously unremarkable students, the outcome of the Battle of Hogwarts may just be entirely different... --- This site is not limited to the new first-years, of course. While the aim is for them to be a prominent focus, professors and older students - including both canon characters and OCs - are more than welcome.
