(ooc: September 1st, late evening, after the students should be in bed. Closed to me, Neville and Luna.)
Staring at the formerly blank wall, Ginny breathed a sigh of relief as the doorway to the Room of Requirement materialised. She had ditched the uniform's skirt and outer robes back in her dormitory in favour of dark jeans and a black hooded top, to conceal herself and make a less-obvious profile in the dark, but other than that, she hadn't bothered changing. It had been the girl's first time summoning the room for herself, and while she hadn't exactly doubted that she could do it, since Harry and Neville had both pulled it off at various times, it was still a relief that it had appeared for her, too - and that she hadn't been caught by Flich or the Carrows while doing it. The room was small, she saw, as she pushed open the door, but that didn't seem to be a drawback; all she'd 'asked' for was a place where she could meet up with Neville and Luna without anyone finding them, and the presented room seemed more than up to the task.
Leaving the ornate door open a crack so that her two fellow DA members would know she was there, the redhead stepped into the room. It was small, as she'd observed, but there was still enough room for the three of them to fit in comfortably around the rectangular table she now could make out in the centre. Leaning back against the far wall - where she had the best view of the door - to wait for the other two, Ginny stripped off her hoodie and loosened her tie some to make herself a little more comfortable. She hoped neither Neville or Luna had run into any trouble on the way here; it would be just her luck if Peeves or Filch had stumbled onto either of them.

"Ginny? Luna? That you?" Neville closed the door to the Requirement Room behind him as he stepped into it, still remembering to leave it ajar for Luna if she decided to come. He let out a sigh of relief as he spotted the familiar red hair of Ginny Weasley. For a second he thought it was a Death Eater waiting for him. Then again, it was impossible for him not to think it wasn't since they were basically at every corner of the castle now. He walked over and sat down at the table across from the other Gryffindor student. He too wasn't dressed in uniform, wearing a maroon sweater and jeans instead. "So." he said after a moment. His mind was so full of thoughts and worries he couldn't focus on much anything else. "...What are we going to do?" he asked the sixth year, clearly implying to the state of their beloved school. "The Death Eaters. They've completely destroyed it."

Finally, two minutes later, Luna cautiously pushed the door to the room of Requirement open and stuck her head in. She spotted Ginny and Neville, the corners of her mouth turned up into a smile. She quickly stepped inside and closed the door behind her.
She had forsaken her uniform for a pair of jeans and light blue jumper. She crossed her arms, her silver eyes flicking back and forth between her two friends as if she were watching a tennis match between the two.
"You-Know-Who obviously thinks that Hogwarts needs protecting...either he's afraid of resistance from McGonagall and the other teachers or he's trying to root out anyone who supports Harry." Luna mused.

"My guess is the latter." Ginny was quick to reply. It looked like she was the only one still wearing even part of her uniform, but she hadly even spared the fact a moment's thought. "We all know how obsessed You-Know-Who is with killing Harry," she added, thinking back to the Death Eater raid on Bill and Phlegm's wedding. "He's going to want to keep tabs on anyone who would help Harry. I'm sure he'd suspect at least Professor McGonagall, if it came to that, but I don't know if he considers us students to be a real threat."
Burning with determination, her brown eyes met the gazes of her two fellow students; the two she trusted most in the entire school now. "I say we make You-Know-Who see that we can a real threat to him," she stated. After the briefest pause to allow that statement to sink in, she added the words all three of them must have been thinking of before they'd even entered the room.
"Dumbledore's Army."

Neville fell quiet at Ginny's last comment. Dumbledore's Army. After a brief moment of silence he gave a small nod, eyes fixated on the table. "Yeah...we'll show him what we're made of." he agreed. He slowly reached a hand up to the right side of his face, probing around the area Alecto had so willingly given him a cut. The sooner the Carrows were out of the school the better. He stood up from his chair, fists now closed tightly. "So we're all on board then, aren't we?" he said, looking between Ginny and Luna. Even though he hadn't asked either of the girls if they were totally convinced, he knew that neither of them wanted to suffer in the terrible state Hogwarts had been driven into. His round face then grew grave. "But we have to remember," he said quietly. "This isn't the same school as it was two years ago. The DA won't be used to protest against some fat woman dressed in pink. This is going to be a full-scale rebellion against the Dark Lord and his cronies."
(OOC: sorry for the terrible post, I'm not feeling very well at the moment. XP)

Luna glanced between Ginny and Neville, both were very on board with the idea but Luna herself was...scared. Yes, she was scared. With Unmbridge it was different...but now they were going up against You-Know-Who himself. They all knew the consequences if they failed. They'd all die. Painfully.
Luna wrung her hands and bit her lip as she tried to figure out a response to her friends. She didn't want to seem like a coward or someone that would shy away from the danger in front of them. She was scared, yes, but she wanted to help her friends as well.
"But if we go full scale rebellion...You-Know-Who will focus more attention on Hogwarts. If he is trying to root out anyone loyal to Harry then we'd be putting everyone straight in the Death Eater's firing line if we fail." she spoke softly, her silver eyes on her shoes "I mean...say that this goes badly, and I'm not saying that it will, just pretend...if we fail then the Death Eaters will want to make an example to the Wizarding World of what happens to those who try and fight back. They won't just stop with Dumbeldore's Army, will they? They'll make sure everyone at Hogwarts suffers whether they are in with us or not."

Ginny nodded, equally grave."I know, but we can't sit by and do nothing," she insisted. "We three have fought Death Eaters for real before -" Okay, so they'd all come out of the Ministry rather battered two years ago, and at the battle of the astronomy tower where they'd done better, they'd been under the effects of Harry's leftover liquid luck, but the red-haired girl continued regardless. "- so we have some idea of what we're getting ourselves into."
She did frown, however, at Luna's following words. When had the Ravenclaw girl become so pessimistic? There was no immediate answer to Luna's statement, because Ginny had a horrible feeling that her friend's words were true. If everything went awry, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named would draw no distinction between those who had actually fought in the DA and the rest of the school. They'd be putting everyone in danger.
"We'll just have to make sure that we don't fail." she replied resolutely, glancing to Neville for his agreement.

Luna gave a nod at Ginny's words. Her fear wasn't quite quelled...but she had faith in Ginny and Neville's descisions. She was scared but not stupid. She was merely pointing out the potential risks to her friends before they dived head first into Dumbeldore's Army.
Luna looked at Neville, strange for him to be silent when she voiced her worries. Still she shook it off as wrackspurts having momentarily invaded his brain and made his head go fuzzy. She would have to issue both Ginny and Nevile with a pair since they both needed clear heads when fighting of You-Know-Who and his army of Death Eaters.
"Yes." Luna said, looking Ginny in the eye "We can't fail."

Neville had meanwhile fallen into an odd state of quietness, momentarily forgetting the grave conversation he was currently involved in. All this talk of the Death Eaters had unexpectedly brought back memories of his own confused parents. He cringed a little, already seeing both Alice and Frank Longbottom laying in their death beds with those unsettling smiles on their faces. Oh look, Frank, that nice boy has come to visit us again! His mother would say. The brown-haired boy shuddered a little.
Snapping back to reality, he caught only a little of what Luna had said and now was looking at the expectant face of Ginny. "...Yes, we can't fail. We won't fail." he said, quickly regaining his seriousity. He turned towards Luna, his gaze softening a bit. "And don't worry, Luna. You-Know-Who won't lay a finger on you as long as I'm around." he assured her. He had undeniably grown an attachment to the two sixth-year girls in the past two years, and just picturing either of them - let alone Harry, Ron, and Hermione - getting hurt just angered him at the thought.
He sat back in his chair slightly. "So...it looks like we're onboard with this then." he said quietly after a moment. A frown slowly crept onto his face. "...But we can't do this alone with just the three of us. We need help, more fuel to the resistance." he reached into his pocket and slowly placed a gold coin onto the table. It was the coin Hermione had given the old D.A. members two years ago, in which he had kept all this time. "We need members."

Ginny's determination solidified in hearing Luna and Neville agree with her, although it also brought a fresh wave of fear. They were really doing this, weren't they? Putting themselves directly in Voldemort's path, perhaps not for the first time, but more firmly than ever before. Luna's earlier words rang true; this would me dangerous. After a moment of thought, she nodded at Neville's comment. "You're right. I think most of the old DA will still be with us -" although given her way, the Weasley girl would make certain that Cho and Zacharias Smith missed the invite to rejoin "- but we'll need to be certain of anyone else's loyalty before they join. We can't risk another betrayal like Marrietta's." In a perverse way, the redhead was actually glad that the girl had betrayed them, since it had led to Harry and Cho's break-up, but she was under no illusions that a repeat of the same kind of incident would be anything other than disaterous for the Army.

Luna gave Neville a soft smile, glad to know he would look out for her and she would do the same in kind. Neville and Ginny were her friends and friends stuck together until the end. She glanced at the two coins sitting innocently on the table...yet those coins wouldn't be so innocent once their plans went ahead. Anyone with those coins would be marked out for severe punishment or even death if they were discovered.
"Perhaps we could design some sort of test?" Luna suggested "A test to prove their loyalty to Harry."
